Tonight it is time for the first semifinal of the clanbase eurocup twelve. Two top teams from Europe will take it up against each other to make it to the winnerbracket final. From Germany it is powerhouse Mousesports that will face team Fnatic from Sweden. Both teams are looking promising this year and they will be top contenders for the big tournaments later on in this year. The first map to be played will be de_dust2 that is chosen by Mousesports. Fnatic on the other hand takes de_cpl_fire as their map. An interesting choice to use a cpl map that is not often played in Europe. Fnatic managed to beat SK sweden with some big numbers on this map and are looking for that same outcome tonight. The tiebreaker map will be de_cpl_mill if needed. With these two great teams this is going to be a great game and the winner tonight will be one step closer to the LAN finals held in New York as the loser will go down to the loserbracket.

Mouz's dust2 is pretty fantastic i think they can take this match.

nice, fnatic did very well against speed-link last week.

Going to be a great game, too close to call i think. Fnatic have been playing really well on dust2, and i presume it was their map pick, but historically mousesports have always been very strong on dust2, their strongest map, hence why they picked it. It remains to be seen if their teamwork with element on dust2 is as good as it was with neo, if so then mousesports should take it. If mouseports get 5 CT rounds then i think they have won it.

Fire will be very interesting, and i do not think it will be the fnatic whitewash that many have predicted. If you look at both mouz's and fnatic's games on the map from the last round. Fnatic's game vs SK.swe was a very CT sided game, by both teams, as both team's timing as T was terrible due to not practicing the map. Fnatic played the stronger CT side and won the match. However, mouz looked a lot better as T, while also having a very strong CT side. Due to fire's geography it should be a T sided map as the bombsites are just so far apart.

Mill will be a very close game with neither team having that much experience on the map. However, mouz probably have a little more experience and should have the edge.

Winner is too close to call, and will be whoever plays better on the night. Exciting viewing. :)

clever move by fnatic to choose de_cpl_fire, they stand a far better chance of winning on that map than 1 of the more played stock maps.

i still think mouz will win, i'm a mouz fan! 2 games to 1 - elemeNt being the key factor throughout.

#23 no it isnt. Virtus.pro and mouz refused to travel to NY last season because it was too expensive, and it'll be the same this year, euros wont move to NY.
