After several months of inactivity, JaX Money Crew has announced their new CS 1.6 team. Today, after a month of inactivity, JMC has announced their new 1.6 lineup consisting of: Corey Hanes, Shaun "hostile" Catron, Shawn "Des1re" Khan, Peter "supply" Lee, and Derek "exodus" Heidinger. In the press release given by JaX Money Crew owner Alex "JaX" Conroy, he states that he was impressed by the performance of these players over the past months, and the fact the players all live in California and are local to the area was the deciding factor when it came to assembling the new line-up. "The motivation and talent of this group of players fits in perfectly with the ideals that JMC has come to standby. The players are also all going to be residing in California, allowing us to go to both major and local LAN tournaments," said Conroy. Although Excello has been performing well as a team over the past few months, Khan stated the main reason for joining the JMC organization was due to the financial backing. "Basically, I got into contact with Gordon about going over to JMC a little over a month ago. The reason we moved to JMC is because Excello didn't really have the funding to send us to the events we wanted to attend. Basically the less events we attend, the longer it will take us to reach that #1 spot in the USA. Right now we have a very solid roster that will be able to compete with any team in the world. This is the most confident I have ever felt with a team." The official press release from Conroy can be found below. The JMC organization shocked the world a few months ago by finishing third at the CPL Winter Championship '05. Following that placing, the team went through some major roster changes due to internal conflicts that left the organization without a CS team. JMC looked to a variety of players, from a variety of backgrounds and countries, to find a team that we felt would be able to maintain the level of excellence that our fans have come to expect from JMC. Today, I am ecstatic to unveil the new crew. Please welcome Corey "Hanes" Hanes, Derek "Exodus" Heidinger, Shaun "Hostile" Catron, Shawn "Des1re" Khan, and Peter "Supply" Lee. Peter, Shawn, and Shaun formerly played on the teams Idemise and Excello, while Corey and Derek are joining us from the former top US team, Rival. The motivation and talent of this group of players fits in perfectly with the ideals that JMC has come to standby. The players are also all going to be residing in California, allowing us to go to both major and local LAN tournaments. We are thrilled to have them on the crew and cannot wait to start playing and getting ready for what looks to be a very exciting year in eSports. Thank you to our fans for their continued support as we make our way back to the top in 2006! A promo video with the new lineup can be found here. The JMC lineup will be as follows: Corey Hanes Derek "exodus" Heidinger Shaun "Hostile" Catron Shawn "Des1re" Khan Peter "Supply" LeeExcello is now left with only three players after the departure of Catron, Khan and Lee. The remaining members were unavailable for comment on the situation. Excello's lineup: Ediz "goodfornothing" Basol Johnny "eng" Folds Thomas "pfx" GarciaCopyright 2006 GOTFRAG.COM LLC.
