The one of the most prestigious LAN events in France is taking place on the 15th-16th of April and will be the testing ground for aAa's GG's and Hostile's new rosters before the ESWC.fr Qualifiers.
The Futuroscope of Poitier, which hosted the 2004 edition of the ESWC, is where the top French teams will gather for Gamers-Assembly event. This LAN event be the last major French event before the French ESWC qualifiers, but also this will be the first opportunity for the top French teams to test their new rosters.

With all the player transfers, players retiring, new faces arriving and old faces returning, no one knows how the top teams, aAa, GG, or Hostile, will perform. This event will be a great preview of the ESWC French qualifier with teams like Bizounours (Intensity), Just A Shot (JAS), 1619 (paradiSe.Crew) and atlanteam, plus the participation of the Dutch team CeA. The atmosphere will be tense and the competition tough.

These teams will be looking to earn some of the $22000 prize purse that will be split between the top four teams.

Teams to watch for:

France Against All Authority
France GoodGame
France Hostile-clan
France Intensity
Netherlands CeA
France 1619

(UPDATE) The gamers-assembly is over and the final standings are rather unexpected:

1. France jas (webone) (9.600€ in computer hardware)
2. France hostile (5.000€ in computer hardware)
3. France against All authority (1.800€ in computer hardware)
4. France atLanteam (1.200€ in computer hardware)
5-8. France Bizounours | intensity
5-8. Netherlands Champions Esports Association
5-8. France dimension4
5-8. France goodgame

With goodgame loosing as early as the quarter finals to atlanteam on de_train and aAa unable to get the upper hand against hostile on inferno, 2 of the teams initially favored to win the tournament will not reach the grand final. jas(webone) win their first major LAN tournament of this cyberleagues season by defeating hostile on de_nuke.
