NGL One kicks off on Wednesday with ten top European Counter-Strike teams competing for $35,000 in prizes. Over the next two and a half months, these teams will compete online for a shot at qualifying in the top four in order to meet in the LAN Finals at the Games Convention 2006. The Finals will take place from August 23rd to 27th in Leipzig, Germany.

Wednesday will see the Swedish powerhouse team, Fnatic, taking on the Polish team, Pentagram, who one the Samsung European Championship in 2005. Two matches are scheduled to be played on Thursday with NoA facing Virtus.Pro and SK Gaming taking on Serious Gaming. The remaining two matches will be played on Friday as Mousesports meets x6tence.AMD and ALTERNATE aTTaX locks horns with the Ninjas in Pyjamas.
