Georgex sits down with Argentinian sensation player MorsA.

1. Hello there Francisco!, could you please introduce yourself to GotFrag readers and give some information about you and your team?

Hey! My name is Francisco Manzano, also known as MorsA and I play for team ARMY. ARMY is a 4 year old team from Argentina which has suffered major changes during the last 6 months, leaving the lineup with betony, vp, frag, SanCor, myself and gray fox who is our coach.

2. Can you give us some general information about your teammates?

Betony is our in game leader and main awper; he’s a really smart player with a lot of experience. He really knows how to move the team as a whole, and takes a lot of wise decisions in every match.

Vp was an unknown player when he joined ARMY, but his smart moves and great aim has made him to be considered as one of, if not the best, players in Argentina.

Frag played for Fa the WCG Qualifier and CPL Chile, 2 tournaments where Fa played really strong and managed to get great performances. Frag was definitely one of the keys to it, it’s really good having him as a teammate now.

SanCor has amazing aim and knows what he’s doing all the time, and he’s also a player you can trust in clutch situations as he can pull out a 1vsX easily

3. I think we all remember the argentinian team Furious Aim defeating Catch-Gamer and taking 5th place in CPL Chile. More recently however, Army.cs has won the last two local tournaments in Argentina, and in one of them, you guys defeated F.A 16-04 in the finals. What are your thoughts about this rivalry?

I think Fa is a great team, but the roster shakeups during the last months didn’t help them at all as they lost some big players like frag, C0ktel and betony. In my opinion Fa’s lineup at CPL Chile was stronger than this one, but they are still Top 3 in Argentina, there is no doubt about that.

4. What are your thoughts about CPL Chile and CPL Brazil for this year?, Any possibility of seeing Army in both events?

It’s great to have major events like those near us, its a great chance for teams from other countries apart from Brazil to “shine”. Yes, we will attend any event in South America if it’s worth it of course, and 2 CPLs are definitely worth it!

5. Besides CPL Chile and Brazil. What is the Army schedule for the rest of 2006?, What tournaments are you looking forward to attend and how are you preparing for them?

We are currently planning everything for CPL Summer, unfortunatly SanCor couldn’t get his passport on time to get the visas so we will have to play with a stand in, and that would be CXXXVIII from Team Merger. We are practicing 5 times a week 4 hours per day at our Lan center with top teams from our country.

6. When the entire world hears about “Latinamerican Gaming”, the first word that comes to mind is “Brazil”; What do you think is needed so the international scene thinks about Argentina too?

I always ask that myself, but I think Brazilians are more serious and dedicated when it comes to eSports, and they also have big sponsors behind a lot of their top teams. That definitely helps a lot

7. How is a normal day in the Life of Francisco Manzano? Any occupation or hobbie besides Counter-Strike?

Boring stuff, I don’t do that much other than going to the gym sometimes and hanging out with friends once in a while. Mostly I relax at my place and watch some tv or talk with some friend through msn.

“The Ace”:
1. Favorite player: zet
2. Best international event: CPL
3. Favorite map: de_train
4. Favorite weapon: m4a1
5. Counter-Strike: Source: No, please

8. Thanks for your time Francisco, do you have any final words or do you want to give any shout outs to finish this interview?

I’d like to thank armytech which is our sponsor, our manager ElOso, my teammates and all of army staff. A big shoutout to team cor, and don’t forget to visit www.armygaming.com
