Bruno Ono from MiBR answers some questions about the recent decisions of MiBR to release the majority of their teams.

GotFrag was able to talk with Bruno "brun0" Ono, part of the current Made in Brazil team (formerly MiBR[SP]) that won the recent Brazilian ESWC Qualifier.

What was the criteria adopted by the organization to choose which team would stay?

I believe there was not a single criteria there, but i think the ESWC results, the bootcamp we had and BrasilCup had great influence in the final decision.

There was a bootcamp among the three teams; did the final decision (regarding which team would remain part of MiBR) come out of these results?

As I said, I believe it was not only that. We managed to play good matches, we won 10 out of 10 matches against mibr.rj and 8 out of 10 against mibr.

MiBR has always been located at Rio de Janeiro, both organization and team; are you guys moving or experiencing any changes because of your Sao Paulo proximity?

We are staying in São Paulo, but I don't know more than that. We are, for now, focused on preparing for eswc and I guess we are going to think about it after the trip.

How do you feel about being part of the main MiBR team after playing for g3x for so long?

It is a pleasure to represent the organization. I always admired the team and their players, even before i played for g3x.

What do you think what will happen to the players from the disbanded teams, especially players like pava or eduzin, who have been part of the team since the beginning?

I don´t know for sure, I hope they dont quit. All 10 of them are great players and persons, I hope to see them soon in the tourneys.

Is there going to be a lineup change at all, such as maybe adding a 6th player from one of the disbanded teams?

No, we are staying as we are. Maybe one of the old MiBR could play for us in events that fnx (16 years old) can't attend.

How do you feel, having finally won the ESWC Brazil, and now with the full support of the organization? What are the plans for the future, championships, etc?

We won the ESWC Brasil still as mibr.sp and we knew there was a lot more there than only the spot for France, and we put a lot of dedication and we reached our goal. We are now going to Sweden in the next couple weeks to prepare to ESWC.

Thanks again Bruno, congratulations on the win and I wish you lots of luck in the future.

You're welcome and thank you :)
