Janne "Kuppi" Kuparinen had been in the team for the past 18 months and decided to be inactive because of his military service, which will last for a period no less than six months.

"We knew for over a year that Kuppi would go inactive because of his upcoming military service, it's always a loss for your team when a player of his caliber leaves/goes inactive," said Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen, Serious Gaming's player.

In order to replace Kuparinen, Serious Gaming decided to move Ilkka "barrack" Mäkinen, who had been inactive for almost half a year due to World of Warcraft, to the active roster once again.

"Luckily for us, barrack wanted to start playing again so we didn't need to recruit a new player. However, because barrack had a break from competition, it's probably going to take a while until we get our chemistry and teamplay together. Although Kuppi's inactivity is a great loss for Serious Gaming, I really look forward to play with barrack again because playing with him is a lot of fun," Kovanen said.
