Train Offense

Pistol Round



f0rest holds middle with a USP while the remainder of the team walks down to ivy with armor. Once in position, the players at ivy give f0rest a signal to flash out middle. The ivy players then rush out, turn left, and attempt to plant at the back of the bomb train.

Save Round



Fnatic's primary save round strategy is identical to their pistol round. Occasionally the team will mix it up by doing a fancy 4 player stack hoping to catch a peaking defender off guard.

Default



In this fast paced strategy, Fnatic spreads out and plays a game of pickoff.



Archi and tentpole rush middle with the aid of these flashbangs. The two will try to move down big ladder train and possibly get up big ladder. Their attention is focused on fragging any defenders on top of 5 train or in the ivy entrance area.



While Archi and tentpole attack from middle, f0rest rushes down the ivy with the use of several key flashbangs. His goal is to hold the ivy region and make a late push around to bombtrain if there's any trouble.



dsn's job is to get down ladder as quickly as possible and frag any defender on bomb train. Once he clears that area, dsn will move out from ladder room to electric box and attempt to frag any players near 5 train.



cArn holds the flank from here. The bomb is placed to his right on the opposite side of the pictured box. If all goes to plan outside, cArn will pickup the bomb and plant in front of the outside bomb train.

4 Ivy, 1 Middle



In Similar fashion to their pistol round, Fnatic likes to concentrate the bulk of their offense towards the ivy about 1/3rd of the match.



The middle player is responsible for flashing the ivy entrance off of big ladder train, and keeping any defenders in zhall occupied with flashbangs and fire power.



The players attacking ivy flash and smoke the right side of the defensive entrance (near 6 train) and take a left after exiting ivy. The team's goal is to plant in the back of the outside bomb train and take control of CT spawn.

2 Middle, 3 Inside




Once Fnatic has shown some success with their default, the team mixes up with a fake. The two players with the best middle spawns rush out middle and attack like any other default rush strategy.



Once the team has taken control of middle 3 players in white walls begin to push up and attack inside. Fnatic attacks the inner bombsite by sending 2 players down the lower ramp (following a barrage of smokes and grenades) and leaves 1 player to flank the top half of inside.

Train Defense

Pistol Round




Fnatic runs a 1-4 setup on the defensive pistol round.



cArn watches inside alone. Occasionally f0rest will move from his position to spot lower for cArn.



f0rest watches middle from zhall.



Archi plays near 6 train (including up the big ladder).



dsn and tentpole play near bomb train watching ladder train together. If the offense storms alley, the two will do the pictured crossfire (note: tentpole has his head buried in the wall, he baits dsn and pops out to frag the offense in the back.)

Outside Bombsite



Observe dsn, tentpole, and Archi's positions. They will be playing in those set locations more than 2/3rds of the time.



You can find dsn in this position nearly every round.



tentpole begins the majority of his rounds by flashing middle from 5 train, flashing middle off of the wall to the right of 6 train and helping Archi setup in ivy by smoking the offensive entrance.



From there Archi will play in this spot. If you had to guess any one round where one of Fnatic's players will be, bank on Archi in this spot.



Tentpole eventually settles watching middle from here.

Inside Bombsite

Unlike the outside players, f0rest and cArn do a fantastic job mixing up their positions.



The duo uses a wide array of stacks, crossfires and baiting strategies.



Once Fnatic has proven they can effectively hold the outer bombsite, f0rest and cArn begin playing inside with more aggressive setups like this one.



This is a traditional setup with 1 player hiding underneath the front of 1 train while the other holds upper. In the early rounds expect to see cArn holding upper with a M4A1 from far back.



This is my favorite inside setup. cArn spots lower while f0rest primes a grenades. Once cArn spots an enemy he will commence firing as f0rest tosses his grenade. The combination almost always produces a pair of frags.
