Complexity boasts the title as the best team in the world on de_dust2. In this DirecTV CGI mini playbook, Karpov takes a closer look at what makes Complexity so consistent on de_dust2. ![]() After winning more then 10 straight matches on de_dust 2 at major international LAN events against top-tier opponents such as wNv, Lunatic-Hai, g3x, and Alternate aTTax, Complexity has come to gain the title as best team in the world on de_dust2. This is a huge change from the beginning of last year's summer LAN season where de_dust2 was considered one of Complexity's weaker maps. So what has made Complexity so successful on de_dust2? Repetition on offense, and calculated risks on defense. Complexity begins almost every offensive round in the same default setup opting to make the defense adjust to their monotony. Once the defense adjusts, Complexity is perfectly set up for a fake. On defense Complexity plays very erratically stacking different areas of the map, often showing spots of extreme aggression. Even with the release of this playbook, I'm sure Complexity wouldn't mind playing de_dust2 for their first round match; they're just that good on the map.
