The KODE5 USA Online qualifiers wrapped up last night with CyberGlobe edging out teAmart in the Grand Finals. Both teams, however, have qualified for the LAN Finals later this year.
The KODE5 USA Online Qualifier wrapped up last night with an exciting overtime match up between CyberGlobe and teAmart. TeAmart, who defeated Team EG and SLP, managed to grab a 15 to 13 lead against CG, but could not get the last important round and CyberGlobe came back to tie it up and send the game into overtime. Things were looking great for teAmart in the overtime as they started off on the defensive first. They stormed out to a four to zero lead before CG managed to finally get on the board. This last round loss would prove costly as CyberGlobe fought back in the second half of overtime and shutout teAmart to take the 21-19 victory.

Both teams have now qualified for the KODE5 USA LAN Finals, which will be held at the G4 soundstage in California on August 19th. CyberGlobe and teAmart will be joining two other teams who were invited directly into the Finals. The winner of this LAN Final will represent the USA at the KODE5 Grand Finals later this year.
