Casey is back with another in-depth analysis of the CAL map of the week. This time he reviews Alternate aTTax at ESWC 2006 on de_train. ![]() If one team was sporting the right name at ESWC 2006, it was Alternate aTTax. And attack they did, both on offense and defense. Typified by the style of in-your-face, super aggressive strategies that make Counter-Strike worth watching, aTTax not only beat their opponents, they destroyed them. On a map like Train—which most teams prefer to work slowly at, often employing multiple AWPs and pick-off plays—aTTax takes a different approach; by employing a wide variety of mostly nonstop rushes on offense and unexpected pushes on defense, aTTax was able to catch opponents off-guard like clockwork. Note: As these strategies proved so effective for aTTax, not one save round was needed.
