(Germany) - The 2006 European Nations Championship event comes to an end this weekend in Leipzig, Germany. The Counter-Strike event boasts a prize pool of 30,000 € ($38,348.22 USD). The four Counter-Strike finalists, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Poland, are all vying for the 15,000 € ($19,166.15 USD) first place prize. No team, however, will leave empty handed as the fourth place finisher will receive 2,500 € ($3,194.76 USD).

Germany and Norway will kick off the action at 11:00 AM CET (5:00 AM EST) on Friday, August 25th. Sweden and Poland will go head-to-head almost immediately following them at 1:00 PM CET (7:00 AM EST).
