STOCKHOLM, Sweden (GotFrag) - The Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme Masters qualification continues this weekend with LAN qualifiers in Sweden. GamersParadise in Stockholm will play host to the qualifier, which will see top teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas and SpeedLink competing. This will be NiP's second crack at qualifying for the Extreme Masters Final event after losing out to SK Gaming at the Games Convention qualifier. In a report on NiP-Gaming, Abdisimad "SpawN" Mohamed will once again be filling in for Emil "HeatoN" Christensen.

The tournament will begin with group play as the eight teams in attendance will be split into two groups of four. Once all teams have played each other within their groups, the top two will advanced. From their, the top team in Group A will play the second placed team in Group B. The winner of Group B will play Group A's runner up. The last team standing will qualify for the Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme Masters Finals.

Matches will begin Saturday morning at 9:00am CET (3:00am EST). Stay tuned for update information regarding HLTV and IRC Scorebots.
