The WCG USA Finals continue today with intense Counter Strike action. JMC struggled time and again on Friday as they fell to both Glimpse of Reality and Pandemic. Pandemic was red hot as they defeated JMC and rolled over Glimpse of Reality 24-6 on Inferno. Defending 2005 USA and WCG CS Grand Champion, Team 3D, took care of business as they defeated Netfragz and absolutely de_stroyed Vigor 29-1.

In yesterday’s action, Complexity, zEx, U5, aGn, lp battled it out in groups three and four. Later in the day the action moved to a single elimination, best of three format as teams battled for a shot at the first place finish. In single round play 3D knocked Pandemic down in a 2-1 win and U5 won with a decisive 2-0 over zEx.

Today the finals and consolation finals will be played. Team 3D looks to score a fifth trip the World Cyber Games but United 5 is looking to finally attend a WCG Finals. In the consolation finals zEx and Pandemic will battle it out.

First place will not only receive cash for their effort but will also be crowned the WCG US champion and be given an auto berth to the WCG Grand Finals in Monza, Italy later this year.
