With Cyberglobe being plagued by inactivity, the team has offically called it quits and Derrick "impulsivE" Truong has joined Turmoil. Cyberglobe has been struggling all season to find a solid roster. Throughout the season the team used fillers and backups for a majority of their matches, but a few months ago the team's future started to look very bright when JMC star Ahlberg joined after leaving United5. When Ahlberg went inactive after only two months in the squad is when the team started having trouble. "With Evan and Ben leaving we tried to rebuild but finally came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to work so we went our own ways," said Truong. "I believe Cyberglobe is pretty much retired." Turmoil is currently winless in CAL Invite with a 0-6 record. However, Truong is confident the team will be able to pick things up. "They are a great group of guys and we've been playing together since Cyberglobe died and we all get along," said Truong. "We'll be attending upcoming major tourneys as well as Winter CPL" but did not specify which "major tourneys". With this addition Turmoil is looking to revamp their record in CAL Invite and seem to think the future is very bright for this veteran team. "We added impulsivE because he is a solid fragger, is good at communication and knows how to be a team player. However, what I think will be his biggest contribution to this team will be his drive to actually play CS," said John "SuperBug" Kleeman. "Our team hasn’t had that drive recently, and its refreshing when there is someone on your team that is always looking to scrim and is down to play whenever. That attitude is catching, which is why Derrick already has and will continue being a main reason for our team’s current change of direction." The Turmoil roster now includes: John "SuperBug" Kleeman Jeff "jaded" Steinmetz Derrick "impulsivE" Truong Ediz "goodfornothing" Basol Chris "Evil" Lewan Tristin "invalid" Bertain Johnny "eng" Faulds |
