Following their disappointing loss to wNv.Gaming last weekend in the WSVG China Grand Finals, Hacker.Gaming were able to finish off a win today as they defeated Newlife to win IEF 2006. This tournament featured only four teams, two Chinese and two Korean. Hacker Project and 5P represented Korea and Newlife, along with aforementioned Hacker Gaming, represented China.

It was a rough outing for the Korean teams as both lost their opening round matches up, Hacker Project dropping to Hacker Gaming and 5P losing out to Newlife. Hacker Project would go on to breeze past 5P in their best of three series losing only one round in the span of two maps. However, it took Hacker Gaming three maps (one of which required overtime) to take down a very strong Newlife team.

Yea PK went up big winning 10 of the first 11 rounds T side on inferno, then blew it. So many clutches lost, especially round 30 they lost a horrible 4v2. They moved ryu to B and hee to A on all maps which has skewed things up for them on CT.

Hacker.pk hasn't been living up to their name lately :| Congratulations to Hacker Gaming on their first place finish and I hope we can see more from them soon.

hacker.gm is qualified for WSVG world finals. Hope they can get visas and get to go.

Enemy and Mal to Hacker.PK and they will be the no.1 team in the world. Drop the micro-politics and just make a superteam.

#14 lunatic-hai is basically dead but the 2 teams really dont get along after all their rivalries so it wont happen. loki > enemy anyway. i would like to see FvW|tr in pk though, solo has an amazing awp but he is wasting his rifle talent and changing his gamestyle too much to try to be an awper.

id still say hacker.pk is in good shape for wcg nearly dominating the #2 chinese team that just beat fnatic, wnv.gm, star.ex, newlife. they did choke like crazy after winning the first map and raping t side on inferno but all they have to do is go back to their old ct sides and they will be insane.
