With the World Cyber Games Grand Final event just a week away, the organization has released the first stage schedules. Fourty-nine teams from across the Globe well represent their nation in this Olympic style country vs country event. 3D of the USA are the two time defending champions and will be looking to make it three as they take on a very difficult field of competition. The tournament will begin with group play round robin where teams will be split into eight groups. Once each team has played all the opponents in their group, the top two ranked teams will advance to the single elimination best of three stage. The last team standing after this will win the Gold Medal as well as a hefty $60,000 prize.
