By: Philip - Published October 19, 2006 at 3:37 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Most of the big names are taking the stage in day two of the 2006 World Cyber Games. These names include 3D, Mousesports, wNv, NiP, NoA, Pentagram, emuLate, MiBR and more.
A full day of matches wrapped up today and eight teams are advancing into the single elimination best of three bracket. Tonight, technically Friday morning, they will find out exactly who their opening round opponents will be.

GotFrag's very own Mark "jESUIT" Cheben, Marc "Singlecoil" Turner and Jaczie Lo will be live on site in Monza to bring you the very best tournament coverage on the web. From Gamesense statistics to Half-Life TV, IRC Scorebots and exclusive photo galleries, GotFrag will be your home for full event coverage of the World Cyber Games 2006. Also remember to set your Personal Timezone so all match times will show up for your specific timezone so you will not miss out on any of the intense action.

*Note* There is a fiveway tie between excello, eMazing Gaming, n!faculty, ExsequoR, and DarkPassage. It will be resolved by a new five team round of group play.

Group G Tiebreaker

*n!faculty could not qualify for the single elimination round and forfieted their match to darkpassage. This means that DP will advance as the #2 position in Group G behind wNv.*
