Mentality "Remember this, victory can only be known but it we can not take it upon our hands to grab it. We can only protect ourselves from defeat but to defeat the opponent lies in their own hands. So understand that when a battle is lost, the war isn’t and when the war is lost you only lost it to yourself." Playing the game with the mentality that all you or your team can do is your best and everything else that results would fall in its own place allows you and your team to improve together as a whole because the pressure would then be off on the players. Once everyone knows that all they have to do is fulfill their roles as well as what the team can do is to do what they can then the pressure is off and players can play more comfortably and inevitably better. Conclusion And so this ends my series. Our minds are such powerful tools, but often at times we let our intuition and unconsciousness kick in first. It almost seems normal. But, to be more aware and conscious of ourselves and of our environment allows us to use this tool and derive things beyond anything we can with just instincts. Just remember, do what you know because you can’t do what you don’t. |
