Pentagram takes control of the Official GotFrag World Rankings with wins at WSVG UK and WCG Grand Finals. On top of that GotFrag adds the Far East Rankings to the growing ranking regions. ![]() Worldwide Rankings
Pentagram’s meteoric rise to the top of the rankings started in London where they won WSVG’s UK event. They followed that up with a big win at the WCG finals giving them two huge victories in the past few months. NiP also has two big wins with Dreamhack 2006 and Kode5 Finals, problem is they lost to Pentagram at WCG Finals. Below that former #1 Complexity holds onto 3rd place right above fnatic who has yet to capture that elusive first tournament win of the year. Hoorai has been the model of consistency earning them a 5th ranking. MiBR has been all over the place from winning tournaments to not even making it out of the group play, confused voters put them at 6th. Hacker.PK beat wNv at WCG giving them the title of best Asian team while MYM shows potential to be the next Catch Gamer. Final American 3D finishes at its lowest point ever barely holding onto the top 10. North American Rankings
Just Outside: Meepins - 8, Glimpse of Reality - 5 While it’s been a couple of months since the last update nothing has really changed at the top. Complexity yet again collects all 15 first place votes and continues to dominate the rankings. Still the crack in the armor was formed at WCG USA where they didn’t even make it out of group play. That event saw strong showings from Pandemic and zEx who both move up in the ranking. Strong online results have helped to boost both rSports and Flow who round out the top 10. European Rankings
Just Outside: x6tence - 15, pro100 - 10 Three European victories this year by Pentagram, two since the last update, has raised their stock barely over NiP. Fnatic holds onto the 3rd spot above a surging Hoorai who has placed in the top 4 at the last couple of events. The highly skilled MYM with a lot of promise moves into the 5th spot above NoA. NoA marks the first Danish team on the rankings in a while. Below them is the struggling SK.swe, mouz, 4Kings and Virtus.Pro. All four teams have the potential to be top three but none have put together a solid tournament in the recent months. Far East Rankings
Just Outside: TitaNs - 38, wNv.cn - 33 The new Far East Ranking takes a look at all of Eastern Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceanic countries. The former #1 team in the World, wNv.GM, was unable to pick up the top spot though because of their loss to Hacker.PK at WCG. The win gave Hacker.PK the top spot. The consistent Hacker.GM whose constant second place finishes in China gave them the 3rd spot. Page:
