CEVO has released information regarding the playoffs for their Professional division.
CEVO has released information in regards to their Professional division playoffs. The single-map double-elimination tournament will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, and will end with a best-of-three Grand Championship Final. This finals event is sponsored by LayeredX, an exclusive and affordable gaming network consisting of premium HP server hardware utilizing a user-friendly web based control panel.

Team 3D, compLexity, Pandemic, Jax Money Crew and Revolution Sports and a sixth to be determined will play the entire playoffs online over the two-day period, for a playoff pot of $10,000 cash. The league has stated that only "standard tournament maps will be used (nuke, train, dust2 and inferno)". As always, in the Grand Finals best-of-three series, each team will pick a map, while a third map determined by CEVO will be used as a tiebreaker.

After last season’s success, the league has decided to use a condensed two-day format "because it eliminates scheduling issues, facilitates smoother coverage, and provides a continuous flow of action-packed matches for fans".

As always, stay tuned to GotFrag for the extensive coverage of the CEVO Professional Season 4 playoffs, including updated scoreboards and HLTV and scorebot information.
