GotFrag's Chris "decline" Allevi had a chance to interview Garett "Grt" Bambrough, his former teammate, about his game, his team, and what's coming up. ![]() My name is Garett Bambrough; I currently play for Team Pandemic in Counter-Strike 1.6 under the alias of "Grt" which I rarely even use. My past notable teams are East Coast Offensive and Green Berets/Revolution Sports. How would you describe Team Pandemic in your own words? I don't know if my own words would be suitable to read; but they are very determined and serious, while having a great time playing this game. What's the current line-up? Currently it is me (Grt), masternook, daffsta, sonny, and pheer. Can you give us a one line description of each player in your own words? mastern00k - Self proclaimed best awp ever and very cocky. Daffsta - Self proclaimed mastermind and cocky. s0nNy - #1 Viet player on Earth and cocky. Ph33R - Hates playing online and can only kill people on LAN. What does Pandemic's normal week practice schedule look like? I wouldn't know what the NORMAL week is, but I assume it's five days a week with a few hours a night. How has it differed with two big tournaments on the horizon? Well since we got to Arkansas and have been practicing, we have played probably around 4-5 hours of scrims a night, and then aim map the rest. With all this practice (which has seemed to pay off for the CEVO playoffs), what do you expect to place at WSVG and likewise, at the Winter CPL? Of course we are practicing to win so we expect that. No one goes to these tourneys to place 5th, they go to win; and if they don't go to win, they shouldn't be going because they are wasting a spot for someone who would want to win. Will we win? No one knows but we will be trying for it. Do you find Pandemic to be a much more strat oriented team, or aim oriented team? Each of these players since I joined have a lot better aim then I thought they first did, and same goes with the strats. I predicted that when I came, the strats would suck or we would have bad leading. But Daffsta has proved me wrong. Its a mix of both; I like to think we have the type of players needed to make a winning team. |
