Christer "fisker" Eriksson has been interviewed on Fragbite after his contract was not renewed by SK Gaming.
Today SK Gaming
officially announced that Christer "fisker" Eriksson and Christian "vilden" Lidstrom will not be a part of the organization in 2007. They join Jonas "GoodFella" Virtanen as members from last year who will not be returning to the organization. Eriksson has been a longstanding member of the SK Sweden team since their 2003 dominance (minus a few short months with NiP). Lidstrom was a part of the EYE team in 2004 when they placed first at Summer CPL and second at Winter.
Fragbite has interviewed fisker regarding the recent changes, below is a snippet from the interview.
What was your reaction to the decision?
Very sad that we ended up the way we did, we had a really good team but it just didn't work. The first thing I felt was that I was quite disappointed with myself who didn't put more time into cs, the second was a little bit of a relief to get away from this for a while.
Why, do you think, was it you and vilden who were the ones who had to leave?
CS today is almost exclusively about skill and having a good day, if you play a lot of cs you will raise your worst level all of the time. Personally I don't think I've been such a great aimer, my strong side has been to trick people and taking good positions as well as playing for the team, in other words sacrificing oneself in every situation no matter what. Why vilden were picked to leave I really don't know, didn't think he would have to go either.
However, Snajdan and Allen are two really good players, they deserve it!
