Counter-Strike: fRoD helps zEx at WSVG Allstar event

Danny "fRoD" Montaner of Complexity rings for zEx's Kevin "aZn" Wang at WSVG's Allstar event.
After qualifying via CEVO’s online qualifier for the WSVG’s CES Allstar event, zEx has decided to use Danny “fRoD” Montaner in the event instead of Kevin “aZn” Wang. According to the zEx webpage, Wang cannot attend the event due to personal commitments.

Unfortunately Kevin "aZn" Wang will not be able to participate at this event due to personal commitments. After many talks and negotiations, we would like to announce Danny "fRoD" Montaner from compLexity as our stand-in.

Montaner and zEx member "Aran "i0nZ" Curbelo are friends, and own a courier business together in Miami. In addition both Curbelo and Montaner have played together on teams in the past, such as Alien gamers. The friendship of these two players was cited by Jason Lake, in a post on Complexity’s site, as a reason for allowing Montaner to attend with zEx.

Team zEx requested Danny's help when they discovered that teammate Kevin "aZn" Wang could not make the trip. Aran "i0nZ" Curbelo and Danny have been long time friends, so we gladly agreed to help out.

This is not the first time Montaner has been a substitute on short notice. At the 2006 WCG Pan America games, he was asked to ring for Sal “Volcano” Garozzo of Team 3D eventually taking second behind MiBR.

The event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada and will take place on January 8th to the 11th. Team Pandemic and members of Team 3D will be attending in addition to zEx along with Quake players Toxic, Stermy, and Fatal1ty. This All-star Festival will be broadcasted on a variety of networks.
