CEVO has revealed a new system for scheduling matches with its Project Gamer league.
BALTIMORE, Md. - March 11, 2007 – CEVO is thrilled to announce the details of a revolutionary scheduling system for the upcoming free Counter-Strike 1.6 league called Project Gamer. The scheduling system will eliminate all the conflicts that teams have historically had when trying to agree to a match time.

At the time of registration for Project Gamer, which opens on Monday March 19th 2007, teams will specify exactly which match times they can play at. The team Captain or Assistant Captain will be able to change these times at anytime on the website or through Customer Support. Teams will only be scheduled against other teams with the same eligible match times. As a result, scheduled teams will be automatically assigned mutually beneficial match times. Players will not have to put any actual effort into the scheduling process - the hassle will be completely eliminated!

Specifically, teams will select between two and four match times from the following eight options:

* Monday at 8:00 PM
* Monday at 9:30 PM
* Tuesday at 9:00 PM
* Tuesday at 10:00 PM
* Wednesday at 8:00 PM
* Wednesday at 9:30 PM
* Thursday at 9:00 PM
* Thursday at 10:00 PM

The options are based on the most common match times that have historically been agreed to in CEVO play. All the match times will be according to the team’s conference timezone (ie: EST for teams in the New York conference, PST for teams in the California conference).

If a team selects the minimum of two match times, they will be able to guarantee that their matches will always be either on a certain day or, at a certain time on one of two days.

The Project Gamer website will tell teams their opponent and pre-determined match time by Saturday of each week. If an unexpected conflict arises, teams will be able to mutually agree to change their time to any of the other seven match times.

Through this revolutionary scheduling system teams will never again be faced with the annoyance of finding a suitable match time with an opponent. Teams that need to “go to bed” early will never be scheduled against teams that can only play late. Teams that cannot play on Wednesday will never be scheduled against teams that can only play Wednesday. And so on.

Project Gamer is coming soon, do not forget to sign-up on Monday March 19th 2007! For more information about Project Gamer, go to www.cevolved.com. For questions, concerns, or suggestions please contact CEVO|Ferguson in #CEVO or send an e-mail to wferguson@cevolved.com.
