Begrip Gaming was in need of new players after the departures of Kristoffer “Tentpole” Nordlund, who decided not to renew with the organisation, and Johan "face" Klasson, who broke his deal with the squad to join the ranks of Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Fabian "blomstar" Åkermark comes from the Swedish local team Volt Gaming. Several reports had been suggesting the intention of Volt's Counter-Strike team to leave the organisation when the contracts were to run out but it is still unknown what will happen to the roster after the departure of such influential piece.

"Blomstar had a contract with Volt until the end of this month but he was released a few days ago," Vasili "individ" Richardsson, owner of Begrip Gaming, told GotFrag.com

"Our plan was to officially announce the players at Slap Lan in Denmark, during April 5th but no harm should come unless some rich organisation makes a good offer for them because they will sign the contracts at the event."

As for Niklas "Nikolaus" Johansson, the former Speed-Link talent was last seen playing for NiP during the local SEC qualifier, where the team failed to impress after poor perfomances against fnatic and SK Gaming.

However, Johansson was part of the Rotate Gaming squad, whose management told GotFrag.com that they were scouring the market for a new roster but that the departure of this player may have jeopardised the organisation's plans and that nothing is sure yet.

Besides the SLAP event, Begrip Gaming are considering attending Spixelania and Wonderbase events in Sweden and probably the next edition of the Eurocup.
