Counter-Strike: Revoltados lose, add 2

By: Chris Kennedy - Published April 21, 2007 at 8:25 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Revoltados eSports' 1.6 team has released two of their players and picked up two more in their place.
Revoltados eSports, recent 3rd place finisher in Season 5 of CEVO's 1.6 Professional Division, have announced the departure of two of the members who helped to reach that placing. Jon "broodex" Gibbons and Robert "Ph0bius" Irey have left the team for different reasons: Gibbons because he has joined Paragon of Virtue, and Irey because he could not meet the team's new practice schedule, and consequently was released. The two had been with the team since the beginning of the year, and were key to the team's #5 seed going into the LayeredX Championships for CEVO last weekend.

Following the loss of the two, Revoltados was left with a 4-man roster, but only briefly. They have also announced the pickup of two former Deadzone players, Jonathan "arkael" Harding & Stew "emz" Houston. To make room for the additions, RJ "rulER" Quinn Simons will serve as the team's reserve player, and Harding and Houston will immediately jump into the starting lineup. Both had gone inactive from Deadzone prior to the Winter CPL event.

With the additions, Revoltados eSports' 1.6 lineup is now:

United States Larry "crock" Ferriola
Canada Marc "moofer" Cizravi
United States Paul "fiercemind" Hardifer Jr.
Canada Jonathan "arkael" Harding
Canada Stew "emz" Houston
United States RJ "rulER" Quinn Simons (backup)
