Brazil - On the eve of one of the most important competitions in the Latin American scene, Made in Brazil, one of the main Brazilian teams, current champion of ShgOpen 2007 and third in the GotFrag? and ZoneRank rankings, announced that it will not participate in the Brazil Cup 2007.

The Brazilian portal ESBR announced that according to the Brazil Cup organization, the team did not have time enough to prepare itself for the event due to Bruno "bruno" Ono's grandmother recently passing away.

Because of this, the organization decided to move all the teams up by one seed. This in turn opened up a slot (#26 seed) for the Paulistana team CHALLYTHING. Moreover, the vacancy created by X9!'s absence was filled by Carioca team 5K.
