Pentagram goes undefeated at the Electronic Sports World Cup Polish qualifier to win the tournament and earn a trip to Paris this summer.
Poland (eSports.pl) - Pentagram continues their strong play cruising to a convincing win at the ESWC Poland 2007 qualifier. The event consisted of six teams including the eventual winners and reigning WCG Champions, Pentagram. The format of the qualifier was broken down into two stages, group play and the finals. All six teams played a stage of round robin where the top two teams played one another in a best of three grand final.
The ESWC will be the first major international Counter-Strike 1.6 tournaments with WSVG and the CPL no longer making the classic 5v5 game an official tournament. The Grand Final ESWC tournament will take place July 5th to July 8th at the Expo Park of Paris, France.
