The Swedish team had confirmed last week the departure of two members, Kristoffer "faken" Andersson and Niklas "pxr" Holtäng, which left Gamers.nu in a difficult situation in the EuroCup.

For the match against eclipse, Gamers.nu decided to use Andersson (who was no longer part of the team) and another stand-in who goes by the name of slow.

However, such situation did not please the Gamers.nu management, who confirmed today that the team will no longer compete in the EuroCup.

"When pxr left and faken was kicked we were back at square one, we lost both tactical depending persons and friends - we all knew that recruiting replacements for them would be hard and require time," Kristoffer "Coyote" Hedlund, head administrator of Gamers.nu, told GotFrag.com.

"Playing official matches with stand-ins and search for new players during this process was never a option for us."

Clanbase told GotFrag.com that all the games disputed by the Swedish team will be deleted and that no replacement will be chosen.
