According to cyberfight.ru, Virtus.Pro has announced the creation of an e-Sports school. Despite Pikiner being the only tutor at the moment, Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov told GotFrag.com that, in the near future, all of the team's players may become instructors as well. There will be two kinds of courses, depending of what the players wish to learn. The basic course costs about $90 and will focus on the development of basic skills, such as mastering the weapons, studying the maps and learning basic offensive and defensive strategies. The advanced course costs approximately $110 and will focus on the development of things such as learning how to analyse the game, creating tactical combinations or learning advanced strategies for every map. The lessons will take place at the Click-net internet cafe in Moscow and will be given to groups of ten people five times a week. The courses are set to start on June 18th. |

...
sorry...
it looked nice tho
u can't become a pro player in some hours, it's like visiting a symposium about reconstructive surgery or something with the aim of getting a surgeon afterwards :)
CS on a high level is all about tactics and teamplay -> this can't be taught, you have to learn it by your own and with your own team. All they can show you is how to read the game and how to aim but aim isn't important anymore.
-> it doesen't worth
there are a lot of things that can be taught, and a lot that can't. Sure you can't teach someone to be a pro baseball player, but a pro could certainly help you further your playing ability.
It's more expensive than ESEA because when you get a lesson on ESEA Rambo doesn't come sit next to you. It's better than ESEA because it sounds like it's more than a 30-minute overpriced lesson from some crappy player that spends most of his time playing WoW now. The lessons are given 5 times a week - I'm assuming for $90 or $110 youre going all 5 days or more, not just for like 30 minutes one of those 5 days.
It's nice to see that some pros actually help their fans and future players. Gotta love the American players that don't even respond with a single word when someone tells them "good game" on IRC and such. I've had nothing but good experiences with European and other international players.
Oh yeah, and ummm... In Soviet Russia, Counter-Forces learns you!
