The British player had joined 4Kings in late March, following a disappointing experience in the multinational squad Praetoriani.

With 4Kings, Mangiacapra was able to qualify for the EuroCup Playoff stage but failed to win the local ESWC qualifier after losing to Dignitas in the Grand Final.

Past the ESWC qualifier, Mangiacapra showed his intention to abandon the squad to play Counter-Strike: Source so that he could participate in the CGS qualifier.

According to the official announcement, Mangiacapra has teamed up with Polarity +/-, a local team composed by former members of 4Kings and Team Ebuyer.

His departure leaves 4Kings with four players only one day before the important EuroCup match against a-Losers. Ben Woodward, staff member in 4Kings, stressed that the team will continue existing despite "most of the eSports world moving to source."

This said, 4Kings has now the following roster:

I love how everyone badmouths 1.6 legends like 3d/col/red/marc as soon as they switch to source. And its always 1.6 randoms who do it who have no accomplishments themselves.

Here are the facts:

If you want to make some serious quick cash in eSports then you have to take the chance on CGS being successful. Especially as no UK team will ever win ESWC, WCG or any other major cs event if the Europeans are in attendance. It really sucks but 1.6 will probably be close to death by the start of 2008.

i dont understand how people who have obviously been playing this game for like 2 years want to critisize a guy thats been playing it professionally for like 6 years. and for 4k never "winning" they got 2nd at a weg and theyve been placing top5-10 at cpl for as long as i can remember. if that isnt an accomplishment to u then u need to rethink what consititutes an "accomplishment"
