Check Six announced today that the organization has added a new team to its family. The organization has picked up immiNent Demise as their newest Counter-Strike 1.6 team. This announcement does not mean they will be dropping their current CS squad. Both teams will remain under the x6 banner but will be split into the Canadian and American rosters.

According to Thomas "thoMz" Garcia the US team will be attending the upcoming WSVG Louisville/ESWC USA tournaments along with the WCG USA events. They are also currently a part of the CEVO Semi-Pro division. The Canadian roster will be attending the ESWC Canada qualifier as well as competing in the CEVO Pro season.

"We joined the Check-Six organization mainly because we wanted a good solid sponsor who could take us to all the 1.6 events we wanted to attend this year. Both Rich and Nick are great people and really made the transaction go very smooth between iDemise and x6," said Garcia, "The only plans we have as of now is attending WSVG in 2 weeks and qualifying for ESWC and WCG."
