Held at the Gürzenich in Cologne, the EPS Finals will once again consist of a four-team tournament that will use a double elimination system.

ALTERNATE aTTaX comes as the main favourite to secure the gold in this event. It has been the most consistent German team and did great season, only losing two points in fourteen games disputed.

Mousesports is the team most of the people places in the Grand Final against aTTaX. Although it has failed to impress lately, mousesports is always a team to look out for. One example of that is the last EPS Finals, where mouz was able to win the event despite the internal problems the squad was facing.

The event will kick off with a match between mouz and 360eSports, a rematch of the game that took place in April and saw the former giving away the three points to 360eSports in a very close match.

The other match will be disputed between ALTERNATE aTTaX and pod.hama. During the regular season, these two teams faced each other on de_train, resulting in a draw that prevented aTTaX from having a perfect record in this season. While aTTaX wants to avenge itself for the result achieved, pod.hama wants to prove that game wasn't a coincidence and that it has talent to move on in the competition.
