Jönköping, Sweden (GotFrag) - The world's largest LAN event once again plays host to one of the most highly anticipated qualifiers for the 2007 ESports World Cup. The top eight Swedish based Counter-Strike teams are all in Jönköping to compete for the opportunity to represent their nation in Paris at the ESWC Finals in July. However, to do that they must overcome a wealth of talent.

Three of arguably the best teams in the World will be competing in the qualifier. Fnatic, CPL Winter 2006 Champions, earned their spot after winning the first Pre-Qualifier at Inferno Online. SK Gaming followed suit at the second Inferno Qualifier, a tournament that saw Begrip fall just short of qualifying. Last but not least, NiP took the most recent drop-in pre-qualifier on Saturday after defeating Begrip, however, both teams did qualify for todays Final.

Games are set to start at 7:00am EST with group play. The top two finishing teams from each group will advance into the Semi Finals which will take place on Monday. From there, the two winning teams will qualify for the ESWC 2007 Finals in Paris, France.
