Counter-Strike: WSVG Preliminary CS Seeds Released

Preliminary seeds for WSVG Louisville 2007 CS have been released.

Louisville,KY - Preliminary seeds for the WSVG/ESWC US Qualifier have been released. Group play begins Thursday, June 21st at 12noon EST. The preliminary seeds are listed below.

Anyone know the exact results of the CEVO online qualifiers? I can't recall what they were, but going off CEVO.com:

"The Louisville, Kentucky online qualifiers will be for �Counter-Strike 1.6� and �Quake 4�. The top two teams from the �Counter-Strike 1.6� and the top two players from the �Quake 4� online qualifiers will then earn the ninth and tenth seeded spots, respectively, for the WSVG Louisville Event on June 21 � 24, 2007."

X3O and MNM were the top placing teams in the tourney to get the two spots (seed 9 and 10).

No matter how well Turmoil/Flow and d2x did in past tourney's and the online qualifier (which they didn't win since x3o and MNM have the 9-10 seeds), it's still quite odd to see them seeded above the Euro teams.

the seedings are not only preliminary but since this is ESWC USA QUALIES, why the hell would you give a high seeding to the euros if they cant even go anyway?

3=seriously at least give the 2 good american teams a chance by giving them a #1-2 seed so they can place high and actually have some money along with a chance to rep USA

yeah weird seeds. Have turmoil or d2e played an international event this year? or in the past year?

Nonetheless should be a good comp, maybe it will mix things up a bit.

awesome, not only are NiP sk 69N-28E and mouz seeded BELOW 2 avg US teams who will struggle to get rounds on the euros, but convention grab the 16th seed. wow, just wow.
