The WSVG Louisville 2007 event begins with a Counter-Strike tournament also doubling as the official ESWC US qualifier. The top two US finishers qualify for the ESWC Grand Final in Paris later this year. The top overall winners will be treated to some serious cash. The group stage of the tournament will be utilized to determine the teams that will compete in the 16 team double elimination bracket play tournament. While there won't be too many stand out matches at this point, the real questions will be who will take take the second seed in groups one through six. Seven and eight have question marks as to who will take top seed.

If a lower seeded team in the top six groups were to overcome the first seeded in that group, it would probably be one of the biggest upsets of this event.

Games between Turmoil and Convention, eMg and x3o, as well as x6 and MnM should have interesting written all over them. Times are tentative and may shift as the tournament progresses.
