Counter-Strike: Dh delivers ESWC qualifier protest

Delinquent Habits has delivered a protest regarding the Greek ESWC qualifier final against Vatos Locos.
The protest regards the Grand Final of the Greek ESWC qualifier, which took place last weekend and saw Vatos Locos coming out on top, thus winning the berth to Paris.

Delinquent Habits believes Thanasis "HACKER" Stamoulis of Vatos Locos to have used silent run in the match at least a dozen of times, something that the local rules strictly forbid and penalize with disqualification.

Delinquent Habits asks for the admins to review the match and disqualify Vatos Locos, which would make DH the new Greek Counter-Strike representative in France.

"This protest represents our opinion which defends that the admins should check the silent steps made by the player," Stefanos "iNsideR" Chalkidis told GotFrag.com.

Stamoulis finds this situation unrealistic and sees no reason for a penalty to be given to Vatos Locos.

"I think this is ridiculous, it is not true that I used silent run during the match and the admins checked the demo and said that I didn't do anything," Stamoulis said.

The local ESWC committee has already commented on this matter, defending the current ESWC champions and saying there wasn't any illegal action during the match.

"After watching the demo from the game, we saw that there was no silent run in any of the rounds that team Dh had said. Especially in the 2 cases in which team Dh put more emphasis into, Hacker's ducks could be easily heard from any angle (first person of free look).

"The admins of the tournament checked Hacker's controls before the game and they saw no bindind problems with the duck and even if there was, all Hacker's ducks steps could have been heard, so there is no silent run or violation of any kind going on."
