The ESWC committee has confirmed ID Gaming as the team to replace g3x in the tournament.
GotFrag reported earlier today that the Brazilian team g3x could not attend the ESWC event due to financial problems.

ID Gaming, the team that finished third at the local ESWC qualifier, joins mousesports and ALTERNATE aTTaX in one of the biggest events of the year.

This said, both Germany and Sweden will be represented in the Counter-Strike tournament by three teams each.

"We got a call today from the german ESWC organisation if we could replace g3x at the ESWC Grand Final," ID Gaming told SK-Gaming.com.

"Although we don't have the easiest group with wNv.cn and NoA, we still hope to reach the second groupstage and perfom well overall."

Due to Andre "nooky" Utesch having left the German team, ID Gaming will participate in the event with the current Frankfurts-Finest talent, Fatih "gob b" Dayik.

ID Gaming will attend the event with the following roster:

Germany Bodo "Bodo" Sbrzesny
Germany Christopher "Fragmaster" Kolla
Germany Christian "todi" Hackmann
Germany Hannes "Hanso" Dunkel
Germany Fatih "gob b" Dayik
