Counter-Strike: mTw adds neo, nooky

By: Luis Mira - Published July 19, 2007 at 4:13 PM EDT - Writer Archive
MTw has confirmed the signings of Andre "nooky" Utesch and Michael "neo" Mitrega.
The German team was on the lookout for two reinforcements, following the departures of Christoph "chrizzo" Krämer and Bastian "b4d" Gaffron.

Utesch parted ways with the ID Gaming squad in late June due to the recent drought of good results and because he believed the relationship between the team and the management to be poor.

Mitrega became a free agent when a-Losers decided to disband the Counter-Strike team, following a poor run in the EPS season.

Team mTw manager Peter "chimsN" Kron is delighted to have guaranteed these players and believes they will play a major role in the team's future.

"Neo brings an enormous amount of experience into the team, which he gained for example in mousesports," he said.

"Nooky doesn't have that much experience, specially in international tournaments, but I think he will be fast to gain it. In addition, he can compensate the missing experience with his good aim."

MTw has now the following roster:

Germany Nils "bara" Waldowski
Germany Andre "nooky" Utesch
Germany Michael "neo" Mitrega
Austria Thomas "uLTi" Teissl
Austria Michael "PapsT" Schmid
