Counter-Strike: man1a brings in Neek0

By: Luis Mira - Published July 21, 2007 at 6:07 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Man1a Gaming has confirmed the signing of Bojidar "Neek0" Kamburov.
The Bulgarian player was available on a free transfer after the closure of the ESWC representative onFire and has opted for a move to the local top team.

Kamburov will help to compensate Man1a Gaming for the departure of Aleksandyr "JaNitoR".

The former onFire member has the international experience man1a was looking for, having finished second in ENC 2005 and reached the second ESWC group stage with HomeLan in 2004.

Man1a Gaming captain Bojidar "KANARKO" Iliev is happy for his team to have guaranteed the services of Kamburov and believes he will play a major role in the future despite not being at his best at the moment.

"We had many players to choose from, but we chose Neek0 because wil and I know how decent he is," Iliev told the team's official website.

"The team needed a player who has a lot of free time to practice. At the moment he is not in his best shape, but he is working hard and he will soon show the game that was usual in the past."

Man1a Gaming plans on attending an international event later this year, although it hasn't confirmed any name yet.

These changes leave man1a gaming with the following roster:

Bulgaria Bojidar "KANARKO" Iliev
Bulgaria Velin "masalito" Velinov
Bulgaria Hristo "wil" Grigorov
Bulgaria Hristiqn "Hr1stIQN" Spasov
Bulgaria Bojidar "Neek0" Kamburov
