Week two of the UK Pro League sees the infamous Cbble in action – a map that produces either total blowouts or a very close score – all hinging on the crucial knife round. Say what you want about its flaws, it is definitely very intense to watch and play and should produce some exceptionally exciting matches.

This week is our first chance to see Dignitas play since GameGune where they looked a little shaky with their new recruit, AdY. They will probably still be taking their time to get their teamwork and team confidence level up to what they were with their old team. However, this shouldn’t prove a problem for them tonight as they are playing strOng~, who, although looking ‘strong’ last week against eom, should not be able to put up much of a fight against the sheer skill level of Dignitas.

Overtime took a comfortable win last week and this week should prove no different for arguably the third best team in the league. This week they’ll be playing engine on mute fresh from an almost total roster overhaul. They looked very sketchy last week; however, they may have had time to get their teamwork in order for tonight’s fixture. They’ll certainly need it to have a chance at upsetting Overtime. Overtime could come into some trouble if they start Terrorist with madSpunk’s fabled ‘free flowing’ play style on a map like Cbble. Nevertheless, I predict a comfortable win for the London based Overtime.

The match of the week is clearly between Pocket Rockets and Infused Gaming. Both teams have the potential to win and look to have very similar skill on paper. Infused really need to win this match in order for them to gain momentum for their second match of the evening having replaced Clan ONE in the league. Pocket Rockets have to be the favourites going into the match and have been practicing hard. Cbble is a map that rewards practice so they should be in a good position for tonight’s game. This week will also be the first chance to see the new 4Kings team in action where they will play Infused Gaming. Since Infused gaming replaced ONE, they are catching up on their week 1 fixture tonight. I do not see the new Infused squad proving much of a challenge to the 4Kings team.

Since highfive cannot play on Sunday, their match vs. 4Kings has been rescheduled to Wednesday. 4Kings should win this fixture but may struggle a bit as Terrorist against highfive’s numerous and skilled AWPers. If highfive start as CT, the final score could be very close and the potential is there for an upset win if they get a large helping of luck.
