The French organization has just announced in a press release that it will be closing its doors and releasing all of its players.

-Paris, March 2000- A couple of French Starcraft: Brood Wars players created a team would forever leave a mark on the French and international eSports scene: GoodGame (GG).

Today, GoodGame is a household name in the international CS scene with achievements going back to the CPL Cologne in 2000 where GG finished 6th. The team has achieved numerous top finishes in major events like the CPL Summer and Winter, CPL World Tour, ESWC, SEC and others. While the team never won a major international event, it was always a serious contender and reigned over the French scene for more than 6 years.

GoodGame's Manager and owner Nicolas "Incolas" Cerrato has officially announced that he is no longer in charge of the organization, ending weeks of rumours regarding the future of the team.

"Today, I'm leaving Goodgame, as well as Willy, the CS team coach. We will not be replaced, which is why goodgame is officially closing its doors for now(...)" stated Nicolas "Incolas" Cerrato.

William "Wily" Depoitte admits this to be a sad moment, saying: "From this adventure, I made many precious friendships, whose list is too long to be enumerated. Two special thanks, though, to Incolas and YoRLiN who made me dream when I needed it the most, and to OliGan, best French player for 4 years."

This said, the Counter-Strike players are now free agents and are expected to join new teams in the future.

The GoodGame squad was as follows:

France Frédéric "OliGan" Ngor
France Matthias "Baldours" Denis
France Julien "MaYeRs" Rivière
France Guillaume "Blqcko" Bakaga
France Nicolas "Dr.Crow" Vaissaud
