Counter-Strike: d2x joins mugNmouse

The Mug N Mouse LAN Center has added local Texas team Desire 2 Excel as their Counter-Strike 1.6 squad.
Desire 2 Excel, a former CAL-I team, is currently competing in CEVO-Semi Professional and sporting an impressive 10-1 record for top spot in the league. The team also performed decently at WSVG Kentucky, but they found themselves without a fifth after the event, following David "savior" Park's decision to join x3o.

As the team was looking to fill their final roster spot, Daniel "MuMiX" Mott became available after the disbandment of the former mNm squad.

"There were a lot of real life issues going on with MNM that eventually led to this. General inactivity was a huge factor with go0ber going to the airforce and slick going to the marines so I decided to join up with d2x because of their dedication and ambition," said Mott.

On the new d2x roster, Mott will also be joined by former teammate Brian "Gosu" Longhofer. According to long-time d2x player Derek "holl@" Boorn, through Mott's help the team then became part of the mNm organization.

"The idea was brought up about us becoming MNM due to the fact a few of them had their priorities in other places and not so much time to devote to Counter-Strike. Daniel (MuMiX) then had a talk with the MugNMouse owner and it pretty much went from there considering we had all been apart of the MNM organization before."

The new Mug N Mouse roster now consists of:

United States Travis "tubby" Bechtol
United States Derek "holl@" Boorn
United States Daniel "MuMiX" Mott
United States Michael "metric" Taylor
United States Brian "Gosu" Longhofer
