Counter-Strike: SoA adds NervoN

By: Luis Mira - Published August 08, 2007 at 9:13 AM EDT - Writer Archive
Spirit of Amiga has confirmed the addition of Patrick "NervoN" Paaske following his departure from Mirror.
The Danish team failed to impress in the GameGune tournament, having finished in 17-24th place following a 16-3 defeat to legionnaiRe in the opening Lower Bracket round of matches.

Christoffer "noas" Terkelsen is no longer a member of the SoA starting five. Despite the poor campaign in Spain, the management decided not to unveil the reasons behind this move.

Paaske, who left Mirror in late July following internal problems, has now penned a deal with the famous Danish organisation.

Spirit of Amiga boss Zahid "Sui" Butt is happy to have secured Paaske and hopes this addition will improve the squad's form.

"We all know each other personally, his way of thinking and playing style will match with the rest of the team," he stated.

The team will now begin practicing for the upcoming events. Besides SLAP live and some other events in Denmark, Spirit of Amiga plans on attending Wonderbase in Sweden and most likely the Netgamez tournament in the Netherlands.

Spirit of Amiga has now the following roster:

Denmark Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen
Denmark Patrick "b1ng0" Sørensen
Denmark Jack "wazorN" Henriksen
Denmark Nicholaes "zitic" Petersson
Denmark Patrick "NervoN" Paaske
