Arenazero.net understands the Spanish WCG qualifier to be in a grave situation.
The South Korean company Samsung, the main sponsor of the Spanish World Cyber Games qualifier, has decided to cut the financial support by 70%.

The Spanish qualifier, which was expected to take place in a month at Real Madrid's stadium, Santiago Bernabéu, is now in a critical situation, with the organization already looking for a new place to host the event.

Meanwhile, the organization decided to cancel all the qualifiers except the Counter-Strike: 1.6 and the FIFA 2007 tournaments.

With only fifty-four days left before the World Cyber Games event takes place, the Spanish committee is working at full throttle to make the current eleventh-placed nation, according to the WCG world rankings, not miss this year's event.
