MCPoker Gaming has confirmed a Swedish Counter-Strike team.
MCPoker Gaming was on the lookout for a Counter-Strike team, in order to "increase the knowledge and exposure" of the electronic sports.

MCPoker engaged in talks with a Swedish team, whom the organisation believes to have the potential to scale great heights in the future.

"There is no doubt in my mind McPoker Gaming will become a top team in Europe now when they finally get the chance to travel to the big events and face the big teams," Johan Pihl, the team's manager, told McPoker Gaming.

Fabian "blomstar" Åkermark is delighted to have joined the MCPoker Gaming organisation and admits the management to have been trying to secure the former Rotate Gaming squad ever since its first place at the SLAP LIVE event.

"FiX contacted me a few days ago and asked me if I wanted to play in a new team with him with a strong organisation behind it," Åkermark told GotFrag.com.

Meanwhile, MCPoker Gaming confirmed that it plans on signing another European team, although it hasn't revealed a date for this announcement.

The Swedish team will make its official debut for MCPoker Gaming at the local KODE5 event, which will take place from August 31st to September 2nd.

MCPoker Gaming has now the following line-up:

Sweden Jonas "FiX" Nilsson
Sweden Fabian "blomstar" Åkermark
Sweden Daniel "Duell" Niemi
Sweden Rasmus "GuX" Ståhl
Sweden Mathis "seAzon" Clausen
