Counter-Strike: g3x vs mibr in WCG Brazil Final

By: Luis Mira - Published August 19, 2007 at 12:25 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Made in Brazil seeks revenge against g3nerationX in the Grand Final of the World Cyber Games qualifier.
Fresh from a convincing win over its archrival, g3nerationX comes into the Grand Final with big hopes and a better prepared team.

G3nerationX's players enter the final in a role that has been unfamiliar to them for several years, following Made in Brazil's dominance in this region.

G3x only needs one map to win the qualifier and plays first on de_dust2, a map it seems to have prepared thoroughly after its 16-2 mauling over GoldenGlory in the opening round.

Made in Brazil had less time to practice for this qualifier with its new line-up when compared to g3x, because of e-Stars 2007.

The removal of its key player Lincoln "fnx" Lau was undoubtedly a huge blow for the 2006 ESWC champions.

Despite the potential of Olavo "cky" Napoleao, Lau's replacement in Made in Brazil is still trying to find his place in the team, something that takes more than a couple of days.

Although G3nerationX is heavily favoured for this match, the Made in Brazil members are ready to risk everything in a bid to reach the World Finals.
