Counter-Strike: plan-B adds MENI, Joop

By: Luis Mira - Published August 19, 2007 at 7:36 PM EDT - Writer Archive
Plan-B has completed a double signing ahead of the World Cyber Games qualifier.
The Austrian team failed to leave its mark in the ESWC tournament, being knocked out of the tournament in the first group stage with only one win in five games.

Plan-B has penned a deal with Franz "MENI" Csandl, who had already represented the team in the EPS Alpen Finals.

Likewise, Christopher "Joop" Schauer has also joined the ranks of plan-B. Former member of ENEMY!, Schauer was recomended by Florian "sNic" Monghy, who had already played a major role in the signing of Christian "madswey" Ceh in February.

The new signings will help fill the void left by the departure of Philipp "John" Sulek and his brother, Matthias "mazze" Sulek.

Wolfgang "Garfield" Montag, manager in plan-B, believes this move to be necessary for the team to improve.

"We have decided to remove Philipp and Matthias because of the problems inside the team concerning motivation," Montag said.

The new plan-B line-up will have its debut in the Austrian World Cyber Games qualifier, which will take place from September 1st-2nd at the Vienna City Hall.

Plan-B has now the following roster:

Austria Franz "headi" Langthaler
Austria Florian "sNic" Monghy
Austria Christian "madswey" Ceh
Austria Franz "MENI" Csandl
Austria Christopher "Joop" Schauer
