(USA) - The LayeredX Championships are set to take place this weekend on September the 8th and 9th. Six out of the 12 teams will battle for a prize pool of $10,000. Turmoil will look to defend their title as they are hungry for another championship. Backfire also makes their first apperance in playoffs this season as for other teams who are returning. Will the clustered x3o make a difference? Can Turmoil continue to walk over the competition?

It's unfortunate that history repeated itself for the amount of forfeits that were issued this season due to teams not living up to their expectation to finish. Mug N' Mouse announced their inability to play the rest of the season and Evil Geniuses couldn't keep up with their schedule. Other then that, the season went great with suprising matches and upsets to stir up the competition. Now that money is on the line, the focus from the players will be ten fold as you can anticipate a great weekend ahead.
